Dear patients,
Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal daily lives. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. We would like to assure you that our infection control and standard precautions are an excellent deterrent to the virus. In addition, we are closely monitoring and following all recommended precautionary measures from the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We have implemented extra precautionary safety measures and protocols to help protect our patients and staff.
Our office will contact you prior to your appointment for prescreening. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office as well as after the appointment for postscreening.
During the prescreening call, you will be asked to make a copayment prior to your appointment.
We ask you to wear a mask in the office until you are instructed to remove it.
Your temperature will be measured when you enter the office. If the temperature is above 100℉, you will be dismissed and the appointment will be rescheduled.
A rubber dam will be used for all restorative procedures to isolate the tooth and minimize contamination.
Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines and children’s toys.
We ask that you do not bring an extra companion to your appointment to reduce the number of people in the office.
Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That may offer you fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
Please keep in mind your appointment will take longer due to extra protocols.
We have added a HEPA filter air purifier to the treatment rooms.
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back.
Sincerely,
Dr. Lee and the team
